Larry King certainly knows how to ask THE questions. In the course of his show, Larry King Live, in CNN, you may wonder if those questions have been perceived over the top by the guests.
Let's take for example, his interview with Donny and Marie Osmond, when he surprisingly almost confirmed on live tv that Marie's 16-year old son is in rehab. Thing was, Marie was obviously taken aback and had no idea that Larry knows that. But she kept her cool, knowing that the tv legend Larry King has nothing bad against her and that he meant well. Her brother, Donny, actually said in an interview that it served as an opportunity for Marie to speak up after weeks of being mum about the issue. The Osmond siblings didn't bail out.
What happened there was Larry King was able to ASK the question.
But during the show that featured Dr. Jan Adams, Larry King wasn't able to ask any.
The doctor who performed a breast reduction procedure on Kanye West's mom, Donda, walked out from the interview just after sitting down on the hot seat across Larry King. He cited that the West family asked him not to talk. So, he did.
What's bugging is that if he was asked not to talk, why in the world did he agreed to appear in the show in the first place? Certainly, the staff of Larry King Live would have not forced him to go if he didn't want to. For all we know, Larry King would have definitely asked him 'bout his take on the death of the mother of the hiphop superstar, but then, other things would been talked about as well. This plastic surgeon has been under fire since her death. Larry King's show would have been the best and pretty credible avenue to clear his side.
Certainly, the rich and the famous, superstars, scientists, and Nobel Peace prize winners have appeared in the show before, but none of them had come to sit in the chair then announced that they can't do the show. Maybe there were who refused to appear, but they actually DIDN'T APPEAR on the show.
The nerve of him to walk out. One can only draw a conclusion that he has something to hide and that he wants to enjoy more than the 5 minutes of shameful fame.

So sorry, it's not in youtube as of my previous search. What's important is that you'll be able to see. :)
